Limited Edition Nails Inc Floral Queensgate Garden | Nail Polish Review

Monday, 9 June 2014

Seeing the bottle on the shelf it looks amazing and certainly is bang on trend this summer what with the floral flowers, but sadly for me that's where all the greatness ends.

Although it does look lovely on pastel coloured nails also dressed up on one finger as an accent nail, it just doesn't live up to its £12 price tag.

The formula is too runny making it super hard to actually get any pink flowers on the nail as they just congregate at the bottom of the bottle, even if they do apply due to the '3D effect' they don't lay flat on the nail and if you've managed to get them on there in the first place it won't be long before they are smudged to the end of the nail about to fall off, if your wanting extra on the nail otherwise it is certainly a lengthy process letting them dry.

I think the concept of the polish is a good one but with actual use of trying this out especially with the price, it isn't something i would recommend if your not willing to get a little frustrated with the application or if you want pretty nails at a price.

My expectations were defiantly not met and excitement quickly turned to an upside down frown hopefully other beauty brands won't be following suit any time soon if they do I'll be sure to keep clear.

Pick Of The Daisies | S/S14 Fashion

Although my eye for fashion is quite resonable even if i do say so myself.

You certainly wouldn't think that looking in my wardrobe of never ending comfy casuals.
Growing up, gaining weight and getting curves it's certainly doesn't happen all in a days
 work.

With all that comes, emotional feelings that are quick to surface, though i may not have confidence or the figure to pull off clothing i wish i could. I guess a little hard work & determination never hurt anyone.

Anyway....

I'm love love loving the daisy trend,
having incorporated a few pieces of the daisy prints into my life,

literally can't get enough of it so of course showing you my top picks on the high street was a must.

what fashion style are you all about this summer?

Nuxe LipBalm Review

Nuxe has always been a brand i have noticed that is featured in many YouTube videos & blog reviews. I didn't think twice about ever owning something from Nuxe because they surely look too expensive for my beauty collection.

How wrong was i!

I couldn't believe they11 were actually reasonably priced from just looking at them so i placed an order online and awaited the arrival.

The whole of the packaging with the way its presented in a frosted glass jar got me super exited before i even tried the product. It just screams luxury.

It gets better...

Being a lover of all things citurs'y in scent, this balm has a sweet orange, grapefruit aura and the thickest most dense texture i've ever tried or experienced. The formulation isn't greasy so won't slip or slide around the lips. To be exact this rich balm is moisturising from the get go, allowing to to feel the benefits instantly.

I use especially to inject much needed moisture back into my lips as an overnight treatment purely because the tiniest bit will last giving my lips a much needed pamper for colour application the next day, not only that though with the product being so thick i've found it lasts until the next morning which is amazing to still have a hydrated pout to face the day with.

I honestly can't praise this balm enough with my low expectations. For the price of £9.50 mixed in with ht fact it works a treat.

Asda Fashion | Game On S/S14 Collections

Sunday, 8 June 2014

Now having never really shopped at Asda it's crazy what I've missed out on.

Every now and then my Sundays are spent taking mum & my Nana round Asda to stock up on some essentials well not so much needed essentials its a lets see what we find kinda shopping trip.
So after multiple visits i caved buying bits from their clothing range, not to forget the yummy raspberry + white chocolate muffins which are delicious by the way with a pot of tea after a hard days work. (It's the little things... bliss!)

Now all that rambles out of the way i'm writing this post just to highlight supermarket fashion & homeware have stepped up its game in recent years. I remember when wearing clothes not from new look or the likes was totally not cool, isn't that sad, how times change.

Collections for S/S14 are all the rage so these are a few pieces I've picked up for when summer decides to turn up, not forgetting my latest must have's to look out for!

P.S Is it just me but don't you feel less guilty putting a cardy in your basket with your strawberry's?
