I have a slight obsession with purple nail polish its beyond control, i need to stop!

My new favourite song has to be by Years & Years | Shine

Bought a new Collection cream blush trying this out at the mo so far i like it.

I ran out of dry shampoo, thursday morning what a disaster,

I am really finding it hard to save!

I have started to read again buying books and never reading is my downfall so i'm continuing Gone Girl for the 3 third time.

Christmas Beauty Gift Guide | Top Picks For Her

Sunday, 16 November 2014

Christmas is something i love, once Halloween is done Christmas has officially stared.

Now growing older somewhat doesn't help with the whole 'Christmas Spirit'  but now with a whole other side of the festive season to enjoy I can get very merry responsibly of course, but for me I get to treat the people in my life to somewhat thoughtful greatly messily wrapped gifts.
Even though shopping is something I'm expertly equipped in much like yourself right? Sometimes doubt of 'will they like this' 'shall i get this' always comes to mind so a little helpful gift guide of all sorts is least i could do to help.

Not only are these items desirable as gifts they're reasonably priced for most budgets as well as making the beauty junkie lover in your life smile on Christmas morning.

Get Spring Ready | Nuxe Wishlist

Saturday, 8 March 2014

Winter blues for me are just about disappearing considering winter's my favourite season of all.
Getting into the swing of summer is what I'm preparing for best i can so when this competition popped up i thought I'd take my chances.

Nuxe products are ones that you lust over and definatly makes them wishlist worthy Here's a few in my wishlist to get spring/summer ready with.

Rêve de Miel® Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm
Lip colour for the spring/summer season is immense this year from the orange to the lilac hues to a classic red with everything in between. So of course keeping them looking and feeling fantastic has to be at the top of everyone's checklist.

Crème Fraîche® de Beauté Mask

On to the face, a 24hr mositurising mask that is the perfect essential for a smooth hydrated base. One thing that really makes me want to try it out is it helps with redness & burning sensations, i think it'd be a great match with my pale skin & the summer months.

Rêve de Miel® Facial Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel

Everyone needs super clean skin, me being one of them. I have to admit face wipes sometime most of the time become my BFF which pains me to say so i think its about time i invested in a great product for a brand spanking new skincare routine.

Rêve de Miel® Ultra-Comfortable Foot Cream

I always dread sandal season it means i  feel obligated to paint my toes otherwise they'll look more disgusting than they do already not only that, out comes the moisturising foot cream with the ankle socks and the foot grater (do they have a technical name?) so get foot cream on your list & those feet beautified!

 NUXE BODY Fondant Body Scrub

I really hate ditching the layers, tights and everything else i get too attached to my cosy clothing. But i guess if i was walking around like that in 25 degrees t'is not gonna turn out well.

So if my legs and arms are making an appearance i need to be ready for action with an invigorating body scrub paired with a delious scented body cream.

My list would be arms length long if i had my way but i restrained myself with a selection of amazing products i think you'll agree we all need as ammunition to get it right this summer!

What's your essential product for summer?

100 Day Spending Ban 2014

Wednesday, 1 January 2014

I don't know what I'm doing or thinking writing this post but why not give it a go I've accumulated beauty products, make up & clothing bits throughout the last year which get put to one side and that half written draft just never ends up getting finished so with that in mind i will attempt a spending a ban.
The keyword in all this is 'ATTEMPT' having never done something like this before (because i have no will power at all) with the new year it seemed quite fitting to try something new not just a healthier diet!

So the rules i MUST stick too until the 11th of April 2014:

Don't buy any make up, beauty products or clothing items for 100 days,

Use products you own you have too many of them already,

Update weekly or fortnightly on progress,

Go at least 50 days without spending,

Save between £50-100 each month for a great future,

Spend only £30 on my weekly food shop essentials only!

Never want for anything only need if necessary.

There's no particular reason for this ban other than i should start enjoying the things i own and stop buying just to buy.
On the other hand i would love to travel to new york, LA and the rest of the world at a push which is never going to happen with my shopaholic ways so all thats left to say is
let the spending ban begin wish me luck......

Ever succeeded in a spending ban before?
What did you save for if you did?

Just an Empty Bottle.... Empties #1

Monday, 3 June 2013

(L-R)
I'm quite the fan of reading empties posts it's always great to have a noisy into someone else's beauty regime and see what products they use monthly and so these are the some of the bits and bobs i've used throughout the month of may.

I use the Simple Pore Minimising Toning Cleanser as an extra in my face routine after washing my face in the morning and at night. I can't say that I've noticed a dramatic difference in size of my pores but they do seem ever so slightly smaller as well as looking tighter. My face feels super refreshed after using this product so for me its worth a repurchase.

I love love love the Heel Genius Foot Cream it smells so good, full of citrus'y goodness plus the blue colour  makes it all the more worth using, smoother onto your feet pop on a pair of gel cotton socks and your feet will be beautified in no time.

Next up is a little pot of goodness although they've certainly changed over time, essential is what they are.
The Body Shop Born Lippy Strawberry Balms great for handbags but I also use them as a night time lip treatment works a treat if want super moisturised lips for your day ahead.

Batiste the best life saver for when your in need of a sprouse up or wake up way too late to do anything to your tresses, I'm sure you'll all agree! (psst I go through these way to quickly)

Impulse and Charlie body spray, these sprays seem to last forever seriously, they're great to refresh throughout the day, as well as that you can reminisce over the scents that bring back the memories from school especially when it was a Games lesson and you'd walk out of the changing rooms choking on Charlie pink ha.

Two empties of another repeat repurchase of mine is the Garnier 2 in 1 Make Up Remover (its also an all over face make up remover too) this works a treat, something I will use over and over again its's that good it doesn't sting the eyes and there's no greasy residue left on the skin after use what more can I ask for?

Last of all Boots Own Branded Nail Polish Remover Pads these are a thin super soaked super effect way of getting rid of polish yes the dippy sponges that have made an appearance in the last year are somewhat better than this product but they are great for travelling and work just as good as cotton wool and acetone, plus the smells surprisingly great too.
