Mac Cosmetic Cinderella Spring Collection Release | February 26th 2015

Sunday, 8 February 2015

I've never really been one to jump on the bandwagon when it comes to a mac collection, although there is always a first for everything right?
Having bought a mac blush, after prolonged used there is no comparison, pigmentation is on point in addition to 5-7 hours wear also a price which one of these blushes is sold for makes it so worth while.

Amidst all that the previously mentioned Spring 2015 Mac Cinderella Collection is one to watch which i'm more than sure will be a sell out.

From neutral shades, gorgeous pastel blue packaging, wearable blushes/beauty powders including everyday classic pink lip shades this particular release has me waiting impatiently. I just hope i can get my hands on something otherwise i'll be very disappointed.

I'm crossing my fingers hoping i'll be able to pick up a
Lipstick in Royal Ball - Fleshy pink (Lustre Finish)
Coup D’Chic Iridescent Powder - Beauty Powder

The whole collection includes:

Pretty It Up Pigment
Evil Stepmother Pigment
Pearl Varnish Studio Eye Gloss
Lightly Tauped Studio Eye Gloss
Royal Ball Lipstick
Free As a Butterfly Lipstick
Happily Ever After Lipglass (not pictured)
Glass Slipper Lipglass (not pictured)
Coup D’Chic Iridescent Powder
Reflects Pearl Glitter
Macroviolet Fluidline
 Little Black Bow Fluidline
Stroke of Midnight Eyeshadow x6
Mystery Princess Beauty Powder
Studio Fix Lash Bold Black
Black Brushes x 2

With soft summery shades packaged in stunning Cinderella blue, etched over with gold lettering it really screams fairy-tale not to mention the products which are shimmer filled. Certainly this 2015 collection has to be one of the best I've seen since beauty products have taken over half my life,  hurry up February 26th.

What's the best mac product you've tried?

Vivo Eyeshadow Unprotected Palette Review + Swatches

Thursday, 29 August 2013

As a budget friendly beauty lover I'm always on the look out for products that are great in quality that won't make my bank balance wince and featuring in this post i think i may have found something very budget friendly!

If you already saw my Vivo Cosmetics Haul then you will have seen/heard about the 50% offer they had across the whole website once i took advantage and the Vivo Unprotected 12 Eyeshadow Palette is something i picked up along with many other goodies (reviews coming soon!)

The Unprotected Palette contains a mix of 12 shades ranging from matte to shimmery which come housed in a reasonable plastic casing which also includes a sponge applicator too.

If you've been living under a rock for the past year or so then you'll know this palette as well as the MUA ones are dead ringers for the Urban Decay Naked Palettes.
I can't give you any comparison between them as i don't own them but i do love the Vivo Unprotected Shadows.

 First Swatch

 Second Swatch

As you can see from the swatches i would say most are fantastically pigmented shades of colour but some of the matte shadows defiantly need a bit work before they come to life but they're super soft in texture certainly not chalky and work 10x more better with an eye primer (i use the ELF one) which I'm sure from the images you can see this for yourself.
I also like how each colour is given a name little touches like that make the biggest difference.

With Primer

I did create an eye look using this palette but the picture quality isn't so great but regardless the shades i used are:
Wisp (matte light brown) Today (shimmery milk chocolate) Flutter (matte caramel shade) Devine (shimmering dark brown) can't tell i have a sweet tooth can you ha!

Vivo Unproteced 12 Shade Eyeshadow Palette 8.4g for £3.99
Exclusively available at Tesco or online at vivocosmetics.co.uk
