#NOTD Pink Thursday?

Thursday, 25 June 2015

Having always been a lover of purple polishes, i tend to steer clear of anything pink however sometimes you need a change so forget pink wednesdays.

Trying some new polishes by Essence for insane cheap prices well there's no question about it i had to give them a go.

This combo of Essences The Nude Collection in Hope For Love 07, with my accent nail topped in Avon's Pearl Shine Topcoat is perfect for summertime.

These polishes lasted around five days before my nails stared to feel weak I've never really found that happens before so apart from the chipped edges everything looked tiptop with my favourite No7 Topcoat.

What's your fave nail combo this summer?

Natural Collection Lipstick Pink Mallow Review

Sunday, 28 April 2013

Now the colour pink mallow screams me, it's defiantly my go to lip colour, it's a great neutral pink and what's even better is the £1.99 price tag the Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipsticks are great for someone on a budget or if your just experimenting with a pop of colour.

However they're some tiny downfalls nothing major, the packaging is so so nothing great I guess and with this lipstick bullet in-particular it is a little loose and rattles but other than that I couldn't fault it.

But something I learned is don't use too much pressure when using it as the bullet will break and plop on the floor (thankfully i took the picture before this happened) it is still use-able as I saved it but be warned!

Moisture Shine Lipstick
'high shine lipstick that gently moisturises the lips'

As for the colour it's surprisingly pigmented which is amazing for the price, the perfect pink colour in my eyes, that stays on for up-to 2 hours before you need to look in the mirror to reapply, I found it to be opaque and even in two applications also it gives a really nice sheen to lips as well as great moisturising benefits it's not too drying but not too greasy/wet that it feels uncomfortable to wear, there can be little bleeding of colour if you pack too much onto the lips but other than that I will be checking out some of the other colours they have offer!

Sexy Mother Pucker Pucker Up Gloss...

Tuesday, 12 February 2013

This came in the oh so wonderful Soap & Glory best of all gift set and i was so eager to buy it after numerous times of browsing it on my many trips to boots but i am so glad i didn't.

Its not a horrible product, the colour pay off is really good it's a nice light rose pink colour that has a scent of chocolate cherry which is ok i guess it's not enjoyable but it's not off putting either.

(£9)
The thing however that i find off putting is the bee sting sensation the whole point of this lipgloss!
How the heck can anyone stand that feeling, i apply it everything's fine then it starts and after about 30 seconds it has to come off because i just can't take it any longer.

To who ever wears these on a daily basis how'd you do it?

However saying all that i'm glad i tried the pucker gloss as it's a fun product to share with friends and have fun with.
But other than that its, defiantly not my cup of tea but i will try and stick it out to see the plumping benefits and how long it actually tingles for all i need now though is to be more brave.

The one i have is called Punch Bowl, try you dare!

Have you ever tried lip plumping products what are your thoughts?

Becca :) x
