Primark Fashion Haul | 2014

Sunday, 9 March 2014

For me a spending ban is never going to work out as I'd hoped but i can assure you i'm slowing saving for the future. As for right now though, primark was my first target to satisfy my cravings for all things fashion & beauty.

These basic tees are just £4 even though they're slightly see thorough the statement necklaces look great with them.

This is the  last thing i popped into my basket and my favourite piece for my spring wardrobe this season.

Again i couldn't believe how this pink crochet top is so perfect for summer wear was only £4.

A necklace not to big or small looks great for casual & even more dressed up looks bargain at £3

These cardigans are great they have a slouched relax seam so of course i had to pick up three for essential purposes.

Red is not usually my colour but my work wardrobe seemed to be looking a bit drab so for just £5 i couldn't resist.

I'm too sure about this one still it some how ended up in my basket.

I honestly can't wait to get back into flats again its been too long wearing just boots.

The style of this dress flatters my figure so much as the stripes take away the attention from my wide hips while the skater skirt bottom falls just at the right making them the perfect dress for me.

 Another essential cropped cardigan.

Yes you guessed it a longer essential speckled tee

Everyone's gotta love an extra saving in Primark i got two of these over sized jumpers for £10 all together. Reduced from £12!

50% Models Own Sale Haul

Sunday, 2 February 2014

Well i guess you know what this means, my spending in ban isn't going so well as i anticipated it would any who I'll update you on my little progress shortly in the mean time enjoy my picks from the models own 50% sale!

I did take advantage of this late last year so i just couldn't resist with my buying habits, i really need to stop but does anyone else see a sale or even like the name of a polish so you just buy it?
Hopefully I'm not the only one who needs to hold their head in shame and attend shopaholics rehab!

So i added to my basket some 'essentials' & i think i spend my £25 wisely sort of.

First up is the Southern Lights Polish tis a be-a-u-ti full glittery lilac-grey holographic shade,- painting them with this as i type,

Then i wasn't sure about the hyper gel polishes as its a bit samey to whats already out there but curiosity bit me on the butt, thank god it did as the Red Lustre shade is the most true red Ive got in my collection its opaque within 1-2 coats, with the finish looking amazing, as for the Pink Veneer Ive still not made up my mind about that one I'm sure you'll find out what i think once its been tried.

My Matte Top Coat & Express Dry are my 'essentials' purchases as well as the brushes, they were something i wish I'd of picked up before in the previous sale so of course these has to be the first in my bag, no thoughts on these just yet as i haven't used them.
I do have high hopes though!

There we have it a spending ban fail but i have to say a damn good saving was made.

What did you pick up in the Models Own Sale?
Or the best saving you picked up recently?

The Beauty Closet Haul

Sunday, 24 March 2013

I recently bought some bits and bobs from The Beauty Closet which is run by Brogan whose also a
Blogger / YouTuber - Brogantatexo,
It's amazing how you can make something from nothing isn't it, I just find so inspiring.
The delivery was super super fast with all my items coming wrapped individually in pink tissue paper (its the little touches that makes a big difference) now onto the bits I got.

I'm super happy with everything I got especially the bunny night lights I purchased two as I'm giving away one as a gift for a baby shower I thought it would be something a little different, the blue scarf is really big however the butterfly one not so much but it'll come in handy for summer with it's thin style material.
The other bits are really cute and I bought the keyring as an inventive to use if I pass my driving test next month for my future car keys (I'm weird I know).

Here's the link to check the website out they have some cute little bits like this elephant necklace and Cath Kidson style make-up bags..

You know when your just having one of them days which consist of feeling sorry for yourself, eating loads of crap + spending money when you can't really afford to and saving should be your number 1 priority? Well these few bits are the end result of that day.

Luminous green top with lace detailing is from Primark £4,
The Amazing American tank top is also from Primark for another barginous £4,
If you didn't all ready know you can currently get 25% off at New Look with an email but you can also get the offer from their Facebook page!
The dress was £12.99 + £4 for the socks below and it all came to £12 pound something (not bad even if I do say myself!)

How cute are those Dinosaurs, Giraffes and monkeys I'm a sucker for random printed socks!

This Hair Removal Cream does exactly what is says and gives you the smoothest legs ever its currently on offer at boots with a 1/3 off.

I've used this toothpaste ever since it was released, amazing is all I can say. Of course it doest give me  Hollywood pearly whites but it defiantly works! these are on offer at boots too at 2 for £5.

I love a good read, so as I'm waiting for the rest of the books in the pretty little liars series to arrive or be released I discovered the The Lying Game series its just as good a little bit same'y slightly dragged on but still a book you can read without too much thought.

I haven't seen this film for quite some time so as I recently stepped into the world of eBay, for £2.50 it would be rude not too.

Last of all a product which I'm yet to try the Primark
£1 mascara I wont get my hopes up but watch this space for a follow up!

What I Bought Haul

Monday, 25 February 2013

I recently went through a stage of buying nothing which was great for my bank balance but not so much for my addiction of buying all things necessary and of course UNnecessary so I give in and bought just a few bits and pieces....

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pore & Shine I've noticed these popping up in blog posts recently and they seemed like they would work for my skin so thought I would try them out. (I'm loving the green'y lime packaging)
3 for 2 at superdrug / £4.49each

Garnier Skin Naturals Moisture Match i picked up the one for Dull Skin which is in the orange coloured packaging mainly for the fact is says 24 hour hydration, I can't wait to try it out. They're currently on offer at Superdrug for £3.99! Usually £5.99.

Simple Cleansing Wipes an essential repurchase, they've recently been re-packaged with improved goodness of added vitamins and a newer softer feel oooo'err!

Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser a definite essential for my skin, I always make sure to pick one up when there on offer just because I like to stock up as well as take advantage of a good deal.
Offer at superdrug for £3 atm!

Garnier Mineral Deodorant I don't know about you but I buy deodorant purely for the smell and for the anti-perspirant properties of course, so when my favourite scent (invisicool) is on offer I always have to stock up.

MUA fur-effect nails these seemed like a good idea at the time but now not so much.

Models Own Wah Nail Pens after watching many (too many) nail tutorials I was inspired to create some amazing designs on my nails but the amazingness that I saw in my head did not quite go to plan in reality and I failed miserably.

I love to read so after a little browse in whsmith' I picked up these two books which were on offer at 2 for £7 a deal I couldn't turn down. The Sophie Kinsella book is my kind of read and as I like lovely bones the film I decided to read the story too.

I'm just a big kid at heart

I saved the best till last my new shoessssss there a slipper style shoe with studded detail from new look not to everyone's taste I know, but I like them a lot even more so when they were reduced from £24.99 to a reasonable £12! (they look great with a pair of skinny jeans.)

Have you picked up any bargains recently?

Becca (: x
