Avon nail paints in slate grey and satin (matte) topcoat,
£1 Primark Falsies,
Benefit Mini Sampler Set,
MUA Eye Shadow (love this neutral shade even for eyebrows,)
Collection Concealer ( I hope its as good second time around,)
Revlon ColourBurst Matte Balms in Elusive & Audacious,
Essential handbag antibacterial gel,

Tresemme naturals humidity control mousse (not sure about this after one use...,)
Tresemme waterless foam shampoo - this is certainly a impulse purchase i don't now what i was thinking.

I only ever buy Vo5 when there on offer 2 for £5 so guess what they were on offer!
It's great to get a bargain as aswell as try new products to include in my non existent hair routine.

Last of all i only bought this because of uglyfaceofbeauty, it's blumming brilliant is all I've got to say!

Over the past few years I've come to love The Body Shop products they are just amazing full of goodness that my skin is crying out for so after trying a few of the smaller sizes i took advantage of the £25 off £50 spend would have been rude not to!

http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/index.aspx

N-spa skin treats are currently on offer at asda i always head down the beauty isle and somehow end up needing to pop these bits into my basket so with the health & beauty event happening there was an amazing deal 3 for £10 who could turn that down?

Finally got my hands on the infamous micellar water dupes excited to try these,

There we have i spend way more than i expected to but Ive been loving all my new skincare goodies and I'm finally getting round to having a 'proper' routine it's not perfected just yet but I'll be sure to share what works for me soon.

Tried any new products you'd recommend?

The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser Review

Sunday, 23 February 2014

Now having heard from everyone as well as their cat & dog about the benefit porefessional primer i just could never justify spending so much on something which may not work or react badly to my skin so i just keep putting off for now.

So with the many amazing discounts The Body Shop has to offer i took them up on one yet again and purchased what i thought would be a great product.

The Claims
Makes pores look smaller. Infused with Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil, it smoothes, primes and mattifies, and leaves skin feeling fresh and pure.

The product itself is a yellowy-green shade of which does have the distinct scent of tea tree which is understandable of course considering the name.
Texture wise I've found it to be creamy and instantly sink into my skin.

Results

With a pea sized amount it covers the areas where i need it mostly in the cheeks & t-zone,
as it does disappear within seconds once rubbed into the skin it really does make a great primer for layering underneath moisturiser as well as foundation even wearing it on its own on no make up days helps blur my imperfections while keeping my spots in check with the tea tree fighting properties.

As for the actual visibility of pores i can't say this product removes them from sight completely,
they do have the smoothed out appearance even slightly downsized,
just not completely gone.

This product makes applying make up that little bit better knowing i have a blemish fighting, pore minimising bottom layer to protect my skin instantly blurring the look of pores.

I honestly can't say bad things about this product for the price it is too,
 really its a win win.

Body Shop i salute you yet again a product I'm not disappointed by!

The Body Shop Pore Minimiser 30ml for £7.50

what primer could you not live without or recommend?

June Favourites

Monday, 1 July 2013

June June June where the bloody hell is this year going?!?!?! It's July already its crazy how time flies, it'll be Christmas before we know it ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Moving on from my weirdness and onto my faves of last month, there's not many products I've loved or rediscovered recently so i only have four products but they are certainly worthy of being featured in this post.

First up is the Loverdose by Diesel Eau De Parfum, I just cant get enough of this scent it smells amazing and because of this I've been neglecting all of my other pretty bottled perfumes. So for now this is my number one fave of the month due to its long lasting floral, sweet scent.

Now i have done a review here on this eyeliner and it is certainly a must have for my makeup bag, its great especially for my oily eyelids and surprisingly it has a super long lasting staying power (it didn't even budge when travailing on the tube/walking everywhere last week when i visited London!) Plus for a price of £1.50 so worth a try!

This is a great refreshing body mist by The Body Shop it smells just as good as the Mango Body Butter,
the scent sticks around for a few hours and is a lovely luxury  product to keep on your dresser, in your locker at work for a quick spruce up or just in the bottom of your bag to use on the go.

With the weather not quite making up it's mind humidity plus rain and shine aren't great for my frizzy hair so instead of having straight locks, I've recently opted for a messy beach wave look to keep my hair in some sort of decent do so i don't have to worry about the weather forecast ha!
This product though can be quite hit and miss depending on the amount you use too much is going to be way too MUCH but spray sparingly throughout your and well enjoy its great results.

Just an Empty Bottle.... Empties #1

Monday, 3 June 2013

(L-R)
I'm quite the fan of reading empties posts it's always great to have a noisy into someone else's beauty regime and see what products they use monthly and so these are the some of the bits and bobs i've used throughout the month of may.

I use the Simple Pore Minimising Toning Cleanser as an extra in my face routine after washing my face in the morning and at night. I can't say that I've noticed a dramatic difference in size of my pores but they do seem ever so slightly smaller as well as looking tighter. My face feels super refreshed after using this product so for me its worth a repurchase.

I love love love the Heel Genius Foot Cream it smells so good, full of citrus'y goodness plus the blue colour  makes it all the more worth using, smoother onto your feet pop on a pair of gel cotton socks and your feet will be beautified in no time.

Next up is a little pot of goodness although they've certainly changed over time, essential is what they are.
The Body Shop Born Lippy Strawberry Balms great for handbags but I also use them as a night time lip treatment works a treat if want super moisturised lips for your day ahead.

Batiste the best life saver for when your in need of a sprouse up or wake up way too late to do anything to your tresses, I'm sure you'll all agree! (psst I go through these way to quickly)

Impulse and Charlie body spray, these sprays seem to last forever seriously, they're great to refresh throughout the day, as well as that you can reminisce over the scents that bring back the memories from school especially when it was a Games lesson and you'd walk out of the changing rooms choking on Charlie pink ha.

Two empties of another repeat repurchase of mine is the Garnier 2 in 1 Make Up Remover (its also an all over face make up remover too) this works a treat, something I will use over and over again its's that good it doesn't sting the eyes and there's no greasy residue left on the skin after use what more can I ask for?

Last of all Boots Own Branded Nail Polish Remover Pads these are a thin super soaked super effect way of getting rid of polish yes the dippy sponges that have made an appearance in the last year are somewhat better than this product but they are great for travelling and work just as good as cotton wool and acetone, plus the smells surprisingly great too.

April Favourites

Wednesday, 1 May 2013

First up I've been suffering from really brittle nails and sadly my only long lasting nail broke a few days ago so this sapphire nail file (the type I prefer to use) I picked up on whim from Superdrug is the perfect tool, super handy to pop into my bag plus the little sleeve it comes in helps keep it protected too!
 £1.49 at Superdrug,

This moisturiser is one I've used now for many years great for oily skin as the name would suggest simple oil balancing moisturiser a little mattifying and lasting moisture just what I look for and so it defiantly deserve to be in my April favourites.
75 ml for £4.25 Superdrug/Boots,

My one and only eye make up remover, I remember I only bought the Garnier Essential 2 in 1 make-up remover because it was on offer, I've not looked at any other since it's that good. I find it just breaks down whatever products on my eye waterproof mascara too (this is due to the liquid technology you know the ones you shake to mix together), there's no horrible greasy residue left on my skin after use plus it doubles up as a face cleanser, so it'd be great if your a frequent traveller.
£2.99 on offer at Boots 2 for £4,

Next the Aquaphor balm this was actually something I picked up after reading one of my many glossy mags but it turned out to be the wrong thing, but with a little Google and some trial and error on my part it's such a useful multi purpose product.
It's basically a lubricated oil so it's great for super dry skin but I like to use this after plucking my brows to soothe skin and once a week I slather it all over my face just to give it added moisture I remove from using scrubs most day's. Be warned a little goes a long way and yes you look like your ready to cook an egg on face it's that oily but the things you do always turn good in the end right?
Plus it's great for blisters + babys!
40ml for £8.50 at Boots,

Another great essential product in my morning routine is the The Body Shop Pore Minimiser to blur my large pores and prevent blemishes the perfect balanced face primer for any skin type.
30 ml for £7.50 at The Body Shop,
Now the weather's supposedly warming up I can't rely on my bobble hat to hide hair I should of washed the night before or when I'm just having a bad hair day so this amazingly wonderful product Batiste Dry Shampoo in the scent tropical (fave smell fyi) is now my best friend for the rest of the year until it becomes hat and scarf season again, let's not hope it's any time soon ha!
200 ml at Boots for £2.99.

Last of all as this is actually my first favourites posts why not add some random ones in too,

I love love love this album after hearing pompeii and listening to the album snippets on itunes I just had to have this on my ipod it's been playing non-stop for the past two weeks!

Now I know these aren't the healthiest breakfast option but there too good not to eat and being the big kid I am I will never stop eating them. Golden Nuggets are the best! YEEE HAA!!
Last of all EBAY! I'm currently selling some bits to save money for my London trip in June I do work but every little helps! And although I maybe good at selling things I've tried so hard to bid and buy things but somebody ALWAYS seems to beat me at the very last second, it's so frustrating but in the long run it saves me money so I won't complain.
What's your favourite thing of the month?
